i've been reading

Dorian is always lying to himself i say this because he does not know what he wants. i say he is to young and has to much on his plate for his own good. He just can't handle it. He thinks he is in love i think he is in lust more than love. And his picture is finally changing on him to reveal his true nature. He breaks a girls heart and goes back after her what arrogance and yet what bravery he still inconsiderate.-Howard

This book and reading it

I'm not quite done reading the book I'm at 100 and something but this book is getting crazier and crazier every time as you get farther. Dorian Gray falling in love Lord Henry got whole bunch of pictures of Dorian and his wife is cool with that. And Basil still weird fascination with Dorian. Every time i read this book I fall asleep not because its boring just because its to over drawn for my taste. Not enough cliff hangers yet or mystreys needed to be solved right away yet. In any case the book keeps getting intersting in my eyes. When i'm awake lol - Howard

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

• " People say sometimes that beauty is only superficial" (pg 39)

To me I think beauty is superficial. I think this because many people do use their looks to get away with things. If there wasn't a such thing as "beauty" what would they get away with??? (Think about that)

• "It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearances." (pg 39)

This quote relates to "Don't jugde a book by it's cover," however in my opinion shallow people do judge by appearances. Have you ever seen the show "Beauty and Geek"??? Do you notice that they always cast shallow women??? These women always say that they will never go out with a geek. This judges that they do judge by appearances!!!

wow....i am surprise mr.wilde said that us womans are not genius, and that we are only decarative sex. i think womans are genius and that we are way more than just a decorative sex.

Stupid Book "Picture of Dorian Gray"

The pages of 43-44 is just dumb. Listen Dorian Gray is so emotional its annoying getting jealous off of picture are you? And basil is going along with it. Lord Henry really wants to buy the picture from Basil but its really Dorian Gray's picture. Very hard to follow but interesting at the same time.

Marriage....Wilde style

To me this quote relates to Oscar Wilde's real life issues. He also dealt with deception to his wife/wives. This quote makes me wonder..... HOW CAN YOU FORGET THAT YOU'RE MARRIED?!?!?
